Mere Chance

You have seen the inside of stars.
You have felt the cold of deep space.
You have been countless things,
Countless beings,
From every kingdom.
You have been in the making
For millennia.
Minute traces, transversing a web
Of space-time.
The stars aligned,
Here and now,
And You are.

We exist.
We will never have not existed.
We are the only conclusion
That makes sense
When all the universal factors
Have been accounted for.
Chance, to us,
Is the certainty of the universe
And as a physical form
Eventually deteriorates,
The remnants we’ve left
Will return to the universe
To take new forms,
To live new lives.

Isn’t everything incredible?
Isn’t everything amazing?
Chance a perspective,
Change a life.
