Tomorrow is here.
There’s a gentle knock on the door
And I never ask who it is,
At least, not at this hour.
There’s endless possibilities
For the dialogue we’ll share.
It’s sometimes new,
Sometimes familiar,
And sometimes overwhelming
When you think about it too much.
Tonight’s tomorrow
Sits still and silent
Peaceful, pensive
And that’s just fine.
We sit and reflect,
We hope and we dream,
And these are the moments
That keep me waking up.
They come and they go,
They come and they go
But they’ll always be back
Tomorrow.
Beautifully written! There was something very soothing about the poem.
Thanks for sharing.
